Gulan and Jayant Kripalani read from former Chief Justice Leila Seth's work written especially for children: 𝘞𝘦, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢 (Puffin, 2010).

'I've always felt that the Preamble to our Constitution is as close to a national poem as one can get. The profound values it is built on, the spirit of Ubuntu, the message of hope and commitment to a better world moves me deeply. It is the ultimate document one aspires to live up to. So when I read Leila Seth's extraordinary book, I knew this had to reach every child in the country.

This reading by Jayant and me will, I hope, lead to many more, in all languages, so that every child will always remember the words and be inspired to be the best version of themselves.'
